Transcend Play

I'm Chelsea Gallagher, a pediatric occupational therapist with a Master's in Occupational Therapy and years of experience working with kids and families. I started Transcend Play because I saw something powerful in my clinical work — kids making real breakthroughs, building skills, and surprising everyone around them. And I kept thinking: imagine what's possible when that same work happens right where they live. When therapy meets a child in their actual kitchen, their backyard — the progress doesn't just happen in a session. It becomes part of their everyday life. So that's what I do. I show up at your door, roll up my sleeves, and do the work alongside your child — in the kitchen during breakfast, in the backyard during playtime, at the table during dinner. Real therapy in real life. I specialize in sensory processing, pediatric feeding, and developmental support for children in Sussex County, Delaware. When I'm not with families, you can find me diving into the ocean, exploring new places, or chasing the next adventure. I love what I do, and I'd be honored to work with your family.
